 Project

 70-220

Building Stronger Youth Through Wrestling

Project 70-220 is the attempt to give back to the sport that changed so many of our team's lives. Wrestling is a sport that teaches leadership, courage, and commitment, things that all kids elementary to high school need to learn. Our mission is to help bring wrestling to kids across New Jersey and give others the opportunity to step on the mat that made us who we are.

What We Do

Project 70-220 works to form wrestling programs in areas that don't have them. We do this by fundraising, and helping generate interest for new programs. We also work with schools that want to start programs but that don't have the resources to.

Our Values

Project 70-220 works to help form wrestling programs in areas that don't have them. We do this with the hope that the kids in those programs will learn our CCL values

Leadership

The world will always need leaders. Wrestling consistently produces them.

Courage

All aspects of our sport requires courage. It takes a lot to step on a mat with your opponent in front of the crowd. Yet wrestlers do it everyday

Commitment

Wrestling will give as much as you put into it. It's something that you have to commit to, to become great.

Project 70-220 Gives Back

Improving the Lives of Kids Across NJ

Our Story

Project 70-220 was started by Jay Morris, a Captain of Monmouth Regional's wrestling team. During his four years on the team, he personally saw how wrestling can make a major difference in a person's life. He learned how to be a leader, how to be committed, and more importantly why to be committed. He vowed to help others like how his team helped him. So with the help of some of his teammates, he started Project 70-220 as his attempt to repay an unpayable debt.

What Wrestling Can Do

Breaking Barriers, Opening Doors

Keeping Kids Off The Streets

Something good to focus on

One of amazing things about wrestling is that it gives kids healthier options on how to spend there time. If they are wrestling they aren't doing things that can get them in trouble.

A Home Away From Home

Family on 3!

Wrestling is a sport that bonds people like no other. My team has seen first hand how wrestling can take a diverse group of people and unite them into a family. The friends and memories that kids make in wrestling will last a life time.
